The noms came out today for the Golden Globes… After reading Emily Blunt’s name for “The Young Victoria” in film, Timberlake sings, “Somebody’s gonna have a good night tonight!” at John Krasinski who’s engaged to the actress.

If you watch How I Met Your Mother then you will probably be familiar with this scene. If not, just enjoy the talking snowman.

Theres like 10 good shows on all of TV, and maybe 3 of those are comedies. Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of them. Last week, Marty Funkhouser came by filming of the Seinfeld Reunion show, and adlibs this joke. This $hit is fugging hilarious and definitely nsfw. Enjoy!

With the consent and support of AM’s family, MTV will begin airing the eight-episode documentary series on Monday, October 12. The one-hour show will air at 10 p.m. ET/PT and chronicle the lives of young addicts, ages 20-25, who are offered a chance at recovery.

Each episode features AM meeting with the addicts, their friends and families to discuss their willingness to change. The show was part of AM’s long struggle to overcome substance abuse, and it follows his mission to help as many people as he could, using interviews and self-shot video from the addicts and their friends and families that expose the severity of their addiction and its devastating impact on their lives.

“After careful consideration we have decided to air the show,” Goldstein’s family said in a statement. “Adam felt strongly that by doing this series, he could help other addicts who were at a crisis point to get sober. Adam was fully aware that if it were not for his own sobriety, he never would have achieved the level of success and happiness he had found. Helping people in their recovery was a huge part of Adam’s life. It is our hope through airing this show that people will get to see the side of Adam that we knew and loved, not just the celebrity DJ, but the honest and caring person who gave so much of himself to help others. The decision to air the show has been difficult, but we do this with the profound belief that it will inspire others to seek help.”

During the course of filming segments for the show, AM often uncovered new information about the addicts that even those close to them were unaware of. He made time to check in during the course of their rehabilitation and provide a raw and honest look at their new sobriety.

“Recovery can be extremely difficult and requires constant attention,” said Sean Clarkin, executive vice president of the Partnership for a Drug-Free America. “But it’s important to know that it is in fact possible to present examples of people who are recognizing the need for treatment and beginning that journey.”

Entourage still gets played live on the flatscreen every Sunday night. Some may think that the show isn’t what it used to be, and that may be true, but its still good television and worth tuning in. Anyways, the season ended this past Sunday and here is the Jay Z joint played at the end of the ep. You may not know, but this is off the Streets Is Watching Soundtrack. I’ve got this VHS somewhere but finding it wont do me any good, who has a VHS tape player thingy anyways… what were they called again VCRs? Anyhow…enjoy.

David Letterman took time away from telling jokes Thursday to relay to his audience that he was the victim of an extortion attempt.

During the taping of “The Late Show” Thursday, Letterman also admitted that he’d had sexual relationships with members of his staff, which the alleged extortionist threatened to reveal.

A press release from his company, Worldwide Pants, says Letterman received a package a few weeks ago claiming to have information about relationships Letterman had with female employees of “The Late Show.” The person asked for $2 million to keep quiet.

He then contacted the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, which set up a sting that involved Letterman giving the person a fake check for $2 million. The alleged extortionist was arrested Thursday; no other details about the con artist’s identity are available.

“This morning, I did something I’ve never done in my life,” Letterman told the “Late Show” audience. “I had to go downtown and testify before a grand jury.”

Part of that testimony involved copping to having slept with members of his staff.

“My response to that is, yes I have,” he said. “Would it be embarrassing if it were made public? Perhaps it would. I feel like I need to protect these people — I need to certainly protect my family.”

Letterman married his long-time girlfriend, Regina Lasko, in March. The couple has a 5-year-old son, Harry.

UPDATE: The person arrested in the Letterman case is a fellow CBS employee.

CBS News is reporting that New York police arrested an employee of the network’s newsmagazine “48 Hours” was charged with attempted grand larceny in the case. The man was arrested Thursday.
